Mercer's 6" x 9" Non-Woven hand pads are preferred industry-wide for a variety of applications. Not all clean up and surface preparation projects are alike; different jobs require different types of pads. Mercer's pads use industry standard color-coding to help you pick the right type pad for the job. Can be used with water or solvents. Seven different grades to choose from.

Light Green (GPG): General purpose, medium scouring pad for general clean-up.
White (WHT): Non-abrasive pad for polishing and light cleaning.
Grey (GRY): Ultrafine Silicon Carbide abrasive pad for cleaning and finishing. May be used with mild detergents.
Maroon (MRN): Very-fine Aluminum Oxide abrasive pad for basic cleaning and finishing. May be used with most solvents.
Green (GRN): Industrial-fine Aluminum Oxide abrasive pad for removing buildup of rust or corrosion. May be used with most solvents.
Black (BLK): Medium Aluminum Oxide abrasive pad for heavy duty cleaning or fast action finishing. May be used with most solvents.
Tan (TAN): Coarse Aluminum Oxide abrasive pad for stainless steel, aluminum and for stripping.
